When They Beg, I Rise!

Lemira stared at Caspian, almost piecing together the day's drama.

Caspian had his lackeys remove the fanboy, then chased after Lemira. "Hold up, did I say you could leave?"

Caspian was visibly upset. "Evelina apologized last night, and I've already reprimanded Asher. They know they were wrong. I gave you an out just now; what more do you want?"

"I should be the one asking that. The outsiders don't know Asher was involved. Imagine the fallout if that gets out. You think your nominee for Best Actor will stand to gain anything?" Calling him a nominee hit a nerve with Caspian.

Caspian's face turned steel blue with rage. "Lemira, are you threatening me? Grown bold, huh? Not even listening to your brother anymore."

Lemira stood her ground, "I'm saying this for your own good. Don't stir up trouble."

"I just want our family to be at peace. Asher was wrong, and I'll make him apologize. Just tell me what you want for compensation; I can make it happen." Lemira scoffed, "I want you to stay away from me."

After her remark, she walked away, but Caspian, unwilling to let go, followed. "You think your little games will make the media believe you over me, a big star?" "Give it a try."

"Lemira, if you walk away now, your dear class president and roommate won't have it easy."

Lemira stopped, visibly annoyed.

Turning to Caspian, her tone dripping with sarcasm, "Ever since we were kids, have you had any talent other than using threats to get your way?"

"Caspian, dare to repeat that?" His complexion darkened as he grabbed Lemira's wrist tightly.

But Lemira broke free effortlessly, her strength too much for Caspian to contain.

Caspian, taken aback, had always seen Lemira as the obedient one, the one who feared him the most.

Lemira replied coldly, "You can't beat me anymore."

Caspian, with malice in his voice, "Aren't you afraid for those close to you?"

"Mr. Caspian, have you forgotten? The script for the TV show you recently starred in, and the upcoming movie, were written by me. But they carry your and Evelina's names, remember?"

Caspian squinted, "What are you implying? The scripts were a collective effort, not just your achievement."

"You can lie to yourself. But if I share

our chat history and call recordings

about you asking for scripts, your talented nominee for Best Actor facade won't hold."

"Lemira, you wouldn't dare!"

"If you hurt anyone close to me, let's see if I dare."
