Chapter 37
Chapter 37:.
Dolores’ brain went blank for a few seconds. Under his gaze, it took a moment for her to regain presence of mind, “Are, are you okay?”. She instinctively went on the defensive.
Matthew’s sturdy body crouched over her. The lust flashing in his eyes was intense and almost overflowing, but she still forced herself to restrain herself, “Did you think he had a fever?”
Did he touch her forehead?
Did she know that no one was supposed to touch him at this time?
Especially women!
It was just an instinct. Someone would touch other people’s foreheads when they were sick. After all, he wasn’t feeling well, so Dolores treated him like a patient.
“It’s good that you’re well.” Dolores sensed danger at that moment and tried to escape from the position below him.
Matthew moved his body down and pressed her body that was trying to move, “Don’t you need to pay after using me to get an advantage?”
His lips were right next to her ear, almost touching her skin. The warm air exhaled when he spoke sprayed thickly and this made her feel slightly itchy. This position made her recall the memories hidden in her heart. That night, the man was also lying on top of her like this, making dominant demands of her….
She trembled slightly as he tensed as well.
“Mr. Nelson… I, I’ll take her to the hospital.” She forced herself to calm down, “I’m a woman who has messed around with another man, I’m sure he won’t be interested in me.”
Dolores purposely pronounced the words ‘messed with another man’ clearly.
It seemed like a reminder, but also a method of deliberately making him dislike her.
If it disgusted him, even if he really wanted to more than fulfill his wish, he would be able to bear himself.
As expected, hearing those words spoken by Dolores, Matthew’s eyes had a tinge of coldness in them. They were still fiery but had already lost their intensity.
His fingers caressed her cheek, her jaw and the next second he grabbed her neck, shouting angrily, “Are you involved?”.
Dolores shook her head, “No, no, I am at enmity with them, how can I cooperate with them to set you up? You are my support, I can still know what is more important.”
A bead of sweat fell on Dolores’ face. Her body stiffened. She was really forcing herself to hold back. Through the light from outside the car, she could see the beads of sweat on his forehead.
Dolores tried to move her arm and Matthew didn’t stop her. He opened the car window and the car filled with fresh air. The cloudy feelings between them subsided. Matthew’s mind cleared a little.
His voice was husky and low, “Call Abbott.”
He finished speaking, rolled over and lay to the side. Dolores reached up and touched his pocket. She didn’t know which pocket of his clothes the phone was in. She touched both and still didn’t feel it, and when she touched his pants pocket, Matthew frowned, “Don’t touch it.”
His voice actually sounded like he was holding back. He snapped his eyes open and stared at Dolores, “If you keep touching…” She was afraid she couldn’t hold back.
He grabbed Dolores’ hand and put it in his right pants pocket, “Here.” After saying that, he let go of her hand and closed his eyes again.
Dolores pulled her phone out of her pants pocket, looked up Abbott’s number and dialed it.
Dolores climbed down from the back seat and waited outside the car for Abbott to approach.
It was too unsafe for her to stay in the car.
Who knew whether Matthew’s ability to restrain himself was any good or not?
Abbott’s speed was quite fast as he arrived in ten minutes. He then drove Matthew back to the villa.
Initially, Dolores asked Abbott to send Matthew to the hospital as she was worried that Matthew’s body might have health problems.
But Matthew let Abbott send him to the villa.
After returning to the villa, Dolores prepared cold water for him in the bath to try to keep him awake. He was actually awake but it looked like he was not.
After soaking in the cold water for over an hour, Matthew’s limbs felt as if they were shackled with iron shackles. He relied completely on Abbott and Dolores to pull him out.
After placing Matthew on the bed, Abbott looked at Dolores, “I don’t think I can help you with the following, I’ll wait outside, call me if you need anything.”
Dolores was speechless.
“Wait, if you go, then he…” Dolores pointed at the completely wet man.
What should she do?
Abbott shrugged and told her he couldn’t help, “I definitely can’t do the job of changing his clothes, so you have to do it yourself. You are Mr. Nelson’s legal wife, it is reasonable for you to help him change his clothes and take care of him.”
Dolores was speechless.
They were nominally reasonable and legal, but….
“I’ll stay out.” After saying that, Abbott went out and closed the door. She stood in the doorway and shivered. Help Matthew change his clothes and look at his naked body?
Although he simply thought about it, Abbott could also imagine Matthew’s angry expression.
Maybe he would be fired.
Dolores was standing by the bed, looking anxiously at the man lying on the bed. If he didn’t change out of his wet clothes, he would probably catch a cold.noveldrama
Change. He stared helplessly at the glittering crystal chandelier on the ceiling and took a deep breath, “The reason you ended up like this today is because of me, I can’t leave you alone.”
She bent her body, reached out and unbuttoned his shirt one by one. She lifted his arm, removed his clothes and unbuckled his belt. Then she turned his head to remove his pants and reached blindly for a blanket to cover his body.
After doing all this, Dolores looked at him. He had passed out and appeared to be sleeping soundly.
She grabbed the wet clothes and went outside. Seeing her leave, Abbott got up from the couch, “Have you finished changing her clothes?”. Dolores nodded and handed the wet clothes to Coral.
“Mr. Nelson may need someone to stay by his side tonight. Stay here, call me if anything happens, I’ll be back first.” Abbott grabbed a jacket.
Dolores nodded helplessly and reached for a dry towel to wipe Matthew’s hair.
After wiping his hair, when she got up to place the towel properly, her wrist was suddenly pulled by Matthew. With some force, she was dragged and fell onto the bed. He rolled over and placed his long legs over her body. Dolores tried to push him away, but the more she pushed, the more force he used to embrace her.
He wrapped his arms tightly around her slender body and buried his head in her neck, murmuring softly, “Don’t be afraid…”
Dolores did not dare to move. Since his voice was too small for her to hear clearly, she asked softly, “What did you say?” But no one answered her.
Later, Dolores felt sleepy and fell asleep in bed.
Warm rays of light came through the gaps in the curtains. Matthew’s eyelashes fluttered slightly and his eyes opened. Apparently, he had not adjusted to the light due to his night’s sleep. He closed his eyes and opened them again only after a while.
When he wanted to move, he found that something was pressing on his arm. He turned his head and realized that a woman was lying in the crook of his arm.
Her black hair was like a waterfall, while her eyelashes were thick and curly, as if there were butterflies on her eyelids. Her cherry-colored lips were slightly pursed and her breathing was steady. All this, surprisingly, made him feel uneasy. He gently moved his arm, but the moment he moved, Dolores cooed.
Her body twitched slightly and her eyelashes trembled slightly. Then he slowly opened his eyes. What she saw was a flawless, handsome face that appeared to be carved.
At that moment he was still sleeping.
She thought of something, but then felt relieved. If he was awake, what shame would he have?
She lifted the blanket and wanted to get out of here before Matthew woke up. She picked herself up off the floor in her bare feet and as she turned to cover him with the blanket, she inadvertently noticed something on his shoulder.
Her breathing stopped instantly.
How did he have bite marks on his shoulder?
Dolores’ mind was puzzled yet clear. A shocking thought burst into her mind.
